When the clients at 175 East 62nd Street came to us, they had a clear vision: a kitchen that could actually work for the way they live, and a bathroom that felt like it belonged in this decade. By carefully scoping the project within NYC's DOB thresholds, we executed a comprehensive gut renovation without triggering the architect sign-off requirement that adds weeks and cost to comparable projects. That's not a workaround — that's knowing the code.
The galley kitchen was rebuilt from the ground up. Custom shaker cabinetry runs floor-to-ceiling on both walls, with brushed brass hardware, under-cabinet LED lighting, and a marble-look quartz backsplash. Appliances are all Bosch: double wall oven, dishwasher, and an integrated wine cooler. An induction cooktop sits flush in the countertop — cleaner lines, easier maintenance, and fully compliant with NYC's ongoing gas transition. A custom breakfast nook with built-in banquette seating and a statement brass pendant turns the adjacent corner into the most personality-filled space in the apartment.
The bathroom was approached with the same discipline. Large-format travertine-look tile wraps the walls, a frameless sliding glass shower door in matte black hardware keeps the room visually open, and a wood-tone vanity with concrete-look countertop grounds the space without leaning cold. Every material decision counts in a New York bathroom — and none were wasted here.

Whether you're planning a co-op renovation or a full gut rehab, we bring the same level of material consideration and regulatory expertise to every project.
